THE JAKE MELKSHAM FOOTBALL ACADEMY
The Jake Melksham Football Academy consists of a 3 day Elite Football Development Program that offers students the unique opportunity to learn from Current AFL Players, highly skilled AFL Industry Leaders, AFL Coaches and Professional Experts.
Participation in the Jake Melksham Football Academy allows students to obtain an excellent understanding of the AFL Industry, which will provide them with the necessary skills to further a career in sport.
Joining the academy means that you are also completing a Certificate I in Sport & Recreation through our registered training provider, Training Sense. Students enrolled in this program will develop skills in the following areas:
• Sports First Aid
• Athlete Personal Development
• AFL Skills
• Career & Goal Setting
• Nutrition
• Injury Prevention & Management
Session Delivery:
There are two camp options to choose from, which involve 3 days of face to face delivery during school holiday sessions.
In addition to the planned school holiday sessions, students will also be provided with online learning development and assessment tasks. Students will also have observations of their skills and access multi-media industry learning material.

All students who participate in the Jake Melksham Football Academy will receive a “Sports Development Pack” including a SHERRIN FOOTBALL, drawstring bag, Nike hat and water bottle on commencement of the program to assist them with their journey.
